Lectors

The objective of the Minister of the Word (lector) is not merely to be an interesting oral reader of the Bible, it is to provide effective proclamation of God's Word in Scripture. Effective proclamation of the Scriptures depends on the quality of how the lector prepares to minister to the congregation.  If you are interested, please contact the church office.

Eucharistic Ministers

Eucharistic Ministers assist priests and deacons in the distribution of Holy Communion. They are trained and commissioned for a one-year term of service. If you are interested, please contact the church office.

Ministry to the Sick and Homebound

At SPC we take our responsibility and duty to the parish community of the Home Bound, those in Care Centers and Hospitals and our catholic brothers and sisters that wish to receive pastoral care from our ministry, with compassion care and concern. Our mission is to faithfully be present to those in need of our support, prayers and most importantly to offer the Eucharist.  If you know someone who is home-bound or sick or if you are interested in participating in this ministry, please contact the church office.
